Angela WeaverVisions of fresh cut herb and flower bouquets for the upcoming season are filling my thoughts these days! January usually seems pretty long here in Ohio... and gray... and cold... and snowy... and well, you get the idea! I keep trying to convince myself that I should enjoy winter since there aren't bunches of weeds to pull or garden work to do; just time for all of it (and me) to rest a bit. And in some sense, I guess that is rather nice, but absence makes the heart grow fonder as the saying goes, so winter becomes the time...
The Gardening Crew at work in the daylily sale bed!
Angela WeaverSeptember always means not just back to school, but time to clean up the daylilies and set out the new divisions for the sale bed for next year. And with the kids back in school, the four-footed kids and I get to work in the garden ... but are they hard at work, or hardly working?! Either way, my Gardening Crew is great company while we clean up and divide daylilies for the sale bed for next year! They love being outside and lounging in the shade of the tractor and garden cart; now if only I could teach them to...
